Read 2 John 12-13
“I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
13 The children of your sister, who is chosen by God, send their greetings.” (NIVUK)
In this verse, John again echoes Jesus’ words — that He shared His teaching so that our joy might be complete. As we walk together in the light of Jesus’ truth, we not only look forward to the joy of eternity but also experience a foretaste of that joy now when we walk together in love and truth.
I’ve felt this in the past when working with the team from KickOff — we’d never met before, yet it felt like we were old friends, already sharing inside jokes.
