but righteousness delivers from death.” (Proverbs 11:4) (NIVUK)

for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle.” (Proverbs 23:5) (NLT)
Humility is better than wealth:
“Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed
than to share plunder with the proud. ” (Proverbs 16:19) (NIVUK)
Fearing God is better than wealth:
“Better is a little with the fear of the Lord,
Than great treasure with trouble.” (Proverbs 15:16) (NKJV)
Honesty is better than wealth:
“Better to be poor and honest than rich and a cheater.” (Proverbs 28:6) (TLB)
Right living is better than wealth:
“Better a little with righteousness
than much gain with injustice.” (Proverbs 16:8) (NIVUK)
Wealth can give us a false security
“The wealth of the rich is their fortified city;
they imagine it a wall too high to scale.” (Proverbs 18:11) (NIVUK)
Wealth can wear us out:
“Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness.” (Proverbs 23:4) (NIVUK)
