Read: 2 John 3
“Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.” (NIVUK)
In this verse John reminds the reader again of what resides in them. When John says that grace, mercy and peace will be with us, he making sure that we know that as we abide in the truth then as a consequence we also gain the rest. It is not a far off hope but an active right now and continuing hope. Are we resting in this hope?
