Sunday 18th February
Read 2 Timothy 4:19-22
“Greet Priscilla and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus stayed in Corinth, and I left Trophimus ill in Miletus. 21 Do your best to get here before winter. Eubulus greets you, and so do Pudens, Linus, Claudia and all the brothers and sisters.
22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.” (NIVUK)
Fellowship and friendship remain central to Christian life and ministry. John Stott concludes his thoughts on Paul’s second letter to Timothy summarising Paul’s entire theology in the short phrase, ‘From Him grace, to Him glory’. He goes on to write that ‘in all our Christian life and service we should embrace no other way of thinking than this.’ Paul would ask us, how true of your outlook on life is this?
