“to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and for evermore! Amen.” (NIVUK)
In everything we do, Christ must be pre-eminent. Each day, we wake and offer our lives afresh to Him.
We should eat, sleep, drive, and breathe Christ. It sounds like a lot—but Christ is Lord of all, and He alone deserves glory, majesty, power, and authority.
He saved us from death. Imagine being on death row and someone takes your place. A simple thank-you would never be enough. You’d live each day in honour of their sacrifice.
That’s what Jesus did for you.
So what makes us think we can offer Him anything less?
Let’s commit every day to making sure Christ is seen in all we do.
